What is Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a business management strategy aimed at creating a culture of social commitment within the company. Thanks to the implementation of CSR, companies contribute actively and voluntarily to various fields, whether social, environmental, or economic.
One way to include Corporate Social Responsibility in the business strategy is by supporting social programs to help improve the lives of people who are in difficult situations, such as those experiencing social exclusion.
Moreover, by having the opportunity to collaborate in very different areas, the company can choose to support those projects that align more closely with its values, achieving sensitivity both internally and externally towards the issues that concern the company and its culture the most.

“Our commitment to KAM UNITATEA”
At EKICONTROL, we are proud to actively collaborate with one of LOTURA Garapena’s programs: KAM UNITATEA. This initiative has positioned us as a pioneering company in the industrial sector in the commitment to people in situations of social exclusion.
The goal of KAM UNITATEA is to improve the quality of life of homeless people through a mobile unit that visits them and provides psychological and socio-health assistance on the street. This program operates in different municipalities: Donostia-SS, Rentería, and Irún. Thanks to this project, we promote equal opportunities in accessing resources, therapies, and care.
KAM UNITATEA was born from the need to mitigate the psychological issues surrounding people in social exclusion. Therefore, the role of our team is crucial to ensure the care of these individuals by offering them emotional and psychological refuge.
Thus, at EKICONTROL, we understand that social responsibility is not just a commitment but also a fundamental pillar in our strategic management.
