With our arrival in 2005, and being the leading Basque company in the manufacture of cutting lines for coil processes, we started our way to a new country and market, Mexico.
Throughout our history, we have contributed to the transformation of Mexican companies engaged in different manufacturing processes from sheet metal.
Ekicontrol’s vision is to empower all companies with cutting edge technology in slitting lines to process coils, to be an ally for people and companies and to collaborate in their transformation towards a more automated and profitable future.
With more than 25 lines sold throughout the country, Jon, manager of the company, remembers with special affection the first line that was installed in Mexico City, almost 17 years ago.
Jon: “The first time I came to Mexico, in 2005, I didn’t know what I was going to find and I was pleasantly surprised. The love and affection I have received from its people has made me feel like family. Mexico is one of our main markets after Europe and that is no coincidence. Mexico is a country of industry and opportunities“.
This is the TwinCut20DM10 multiformat cutting line that was installed in an auto parts factory in Mexico City.
From then on, the history of Ekicontrol in Mexico has been a race to success, many years of working together, complicity, support and gratitude towards the Mexican people.
